I called Venice Beach home once. Right on Cabrillo, one block from Abbot Kinney. It was so different back then. It wasn’t built up with high-end shops and stores. It had a more artistic vibe. But if you’re looking for great places to shoot, Venice has them. My advice, you better start early in the morning before the crowds hit and traffic builds and parking spaces disappear.
This fashion shoot started with a couple of espressos at Intelligentsia. Coffee before work is the only way to function. We wanted to shoot more street style active wear so the model brought her favorite tiger stripe outfit.
